National Park

Wildlife Sanctuary

  • Purpose: To strictly protect wildlife and their natural habitats.

  • What you can do: Generally not open for tourism. Entry is restricted, usually only for researchers, conservation staff, or special educational purposes.

  • Management style: Strict conservation, minimal human disturbance.

  • Examples in Thailand: Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary, Thungyai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary.
